Cthulhu Fridge Magnet

This series of refrigerator magnets is inspired by the unspeakable ancient beings of the Cthulhu Mythos, transforming the inscrutable, chaotic essence of the Old Gods into tangible artistic symbols.

The design employs a three-dimensional sculpting language reminiscent of wood carving, depicting Cthulhu's deep-sea tentacles, Hastur's flowing yellow robes, Nyarlathotep's eerie humanoid form, and the twisted, fleshy mass of the Black Goat's offspring, emphasizing mythological imagery rather than realistic representation.

Through the contrasting use of matte paint and weathering techniques, a balance is struck between aesthetic horror and practical functionality; while preserving the majesty and mystery of the Old Gods, the simple contours are adapted to modern home spaces.

This allows the cosmic horror depicted by Lovecraft to become a tangible, displayable, and integrated visual presence in everyday life.
